Celtic are expecting winger Patrick Roberts to be back fit in time to face Zenit in the Europa League next month.
According to The Scotsman, Celtic are not willing to rush Roberts back from injury in fear of increasing the severity of the situation.
Instead, they are going to be patient and wait for the right time to bring him back into the fray.
Roberts has been sidelined with a hamstring injury since late November and Celtic are confident of having him back next month.
Celtic’s first leg of their last 32 Europa League clash with Zenit is on the 15th February, with the report claiming Roberts will be fit in time for the game.
The Englishman is on a season-long loan from Manchester City and has netted just once this season, which came in the Champions League against Anderlecht.
Roberts has one goal and three assists in 12 matches for Celtic this season.
