According to Football Insider 24/7, Lazio are looking to snap up Celtic’s Jozo Simunovic in the current transfer window.
Simunovic has been rumoured with a move away from The Hoops a lot recently, with many Premier League clubs such as Crystal Palace and high-flyers Burnley interested in his services, but Lazio are the most recent club being linked with the Bosnian.
With the recent arrival of RB Leipzig’s Marvin Compper and Kristoffer Ajer jumping up the pecking order at Celtic, Simunovic has seen himself become surplus to requirements at the Scottish reigning champions.

Lazio want to sign the Celtic defender, as the future of Stefan de Vrij is still very unclear, as his contract runs out in the summer and many top clubs such as Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United have all been previously interested in the Netherlands international.
However, Celtic may be reluctant to sell, despite Simunovic not being first choice, as they still have to compete in the Europa League, where squad rotation is needed, so a replacement may have to be brought in before their clash with Zenit St. Petersburg, before they decide to sell Simunovic.
