Celtic keeping close eye on Reise Allassani

According to the Independent, Celtic are closely looking at former Crystal Palace youngster Reise Allassani as he looks to rebuild his career after a devastating knee ligament injury.

Allassani, 22, was released by the Eagles back in 2016 and was about to sign for Sheffield Wednesday before suffering the injury, and he is now on the books with non-league side Dulwich Hamlet after signing last November.

The forward has already struck 17 goals, including two hat-tricks, so far this season in his 16 appearances for the seventh-tier side,  and he has reportedly caught the attention of the Scottish champions.

Dulwich Hamlet manager Gavin Rose has moved Allassani to a more central role after he was used wide man at Palace, where he was once being looked at by Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal.

Rose has admitted seven or eight clubs have registered an interest in signing Allassani this month, one of which is believed to be Celtic.
