Celtic have made £2.5million bid for Besiktas defender Dusko Tosic, according to Turkish outlet Aksam.
According to Aksam, Celtic have made an initial offer for the 32-year-old but the Turkish side are are holding out for around £3.5million.
The Serbian international is just another one of the many defenders being linked with a move to the Scottish champions as they look to add defensive reinforcements this January.

Having let Erik Sviatchenko join Midtjylland on loan and with new boy Marvin Compper out with injury, Brendan Rodgers’ squad is looking a little short of defensive cover and it looks like the scouting department have identified Tosic as a short-term solution.
Brendan Rodgers admitted in the summer that his squad needed a bit more experience and with Compper out for a while, Tosic could be an older head to guide the younger players.
If Besiktas are holding out for more cash, this could be a story that runs for a while.
