Celtic midfielder Tom Rogic looks like he will be out of action until at least March with a knee injury that saw him miss the Champions’ busy festive period.
As the The Scotsman report, manager Brendan Rodgers confirmed the playmaker would be out for another six to eight weeks.
The 25-year-old has not featured in the team since coming on as a half-time substitute in the 1-0 home defeat to Anderlecht at the start of December.

This setback, coupled with the ongoing injuries to Patrick Roberts and Stuart Armstrong ruled, leaves Rodgers a little short in terms of attacking creativity in his squad.
Rogic’s injury will see him miss the first leg of the Europa league Last 32 tie against Zenit in mid-February and will likely force him out of the return leg in Russia a week later.
With only Callum McGregor as the other attacking midfielder in Celtic’s ranks, they will miss the Australian’s strength and poise on the ball.
After another injury setback this month, Rodgers remains hopeful on adding to his squad in the current transfer window. Though the Irishman has made it clear that signings will only come once real quality is made available.
