Scottish champions Celtic are eager to secure another domestic treble this season after their warm-weather training in Dubai helped to regain freshness ahead of the second half of the season, according to the Scotsman.
The Hoops comfortably defeated Brechin in the fourth round of the Scottish Cup on the weekend and the freshness of the players was noticeable.

All the players involved looked fully match fit and buzzed around the pitch with a spring in their step. It looks like Brendan Rodgers’ warm weather training in Dubai with the squad has worked well.
Celtic midfielder Callum McGregor, who was one of the standout performers on the weekend, is confident that the players can step up their performances until the end of the campaign.
You could see throughout the team that freshness is back. Scotty played a lot of games, we all did. He’s got that freshness back, he’s had that break. We’re used to two or three games a week.
We’ve just come off the back of a break so we are ready to go and enjoy the challenge. We played a lot of games; it was high demand in the Champions League. The break was good, both for the legs and mentally too. We needed it.
McGregor is now hoping to continue to put in good performances to help his side secure all the domestic trophies this season.
Celtic looked fatigued and weary towards the end of December, where they lost their 69-match unbeaten run in Scottish competitions against Hearts, but they now look fit and raring to go for the remainder of the campaign.
