The player has been allowed to leave the Premier League champions on loan until the end of the season to continue his development.
Musonda had been part of the first-team squad at Stamford Bridge this season but saw most of his football come in the cup competitions.
The Belgian winger has been linked with a move to Celtic for some time, with Brendan Rodgers a known admirer of the player.
Musonda is highly thought of at Stamford Bridge, regarded as one of the club’s most promising youngsters. He has previously spent time on loan at Real Betis in La Liga.
