Celtic’s latest loan signing has stated his delight at joining the Scottish champions.
The ‘keeper joins the Hoops on a loan deal until the end of the season after having his loan with Hibs cut-short so Celtic could go ahead with the deal.
Both he and Jack Hendry, another player who has made the switch from Dens Park to Paradise, were announced shortly after deadline day struck at midnight.
Speaking to the Celtic website, he spoke of his excitement to get started:
It’s an opportunity I couldn’t pass up and it’s the chance of a lifetime to come to a club the size of Celtic and work with a manager as good as Brendan Rodgers and a goalkeeping coach like Stevie Woods.
This is biggest club in Scotland and one of the biggest clubs in the world, so I just can’t believe that I’m here.
IÂ phoned my dad earlier in the day just to say that I was leaving Easter Road and on the road to Glasgow, and he was buzzing and delighted for me.
I can’t believe I was on the bench for Hibs against Celtic last weekend and then, just a few days later, I’m signing for Celtic. I’m thoroughly delighted
It’s not something that when I went on loan to Hibs was ever going to happen, so the past few days have been great, and to get it over the line and be here is absolutely amazing.

Bain has a wealth of experience playing in Scotland’s top-flight having appeared for Dundee over 100 times in the space of three years. He also spent a fair amount of time at Alloa Athletic from 2011 until 2014.
Just 26-years of age, the Scotsman could potentially have his role at the club extended beyond this season.
Given Dutchman Dorus de Vries will likely remain number one choice with Gordon being out, it will be interesting to see the part Bain will play in what will be a matter of months.
