Celtic midfielder Eboue Kouaasi was heavily linked with a move away from the club last month but he instead decided to stay, despite a number of clubs being interested in him.
There were high hopes for the player when he moved to Scotland for £2.8 million but he has struggled to make much of an impact at Celtic as of yet.
The club lost 1-0 at the weekend to Kilmarnock and a number of people said, following the loss, that the progress of Kouaasi is being halted and he is developing too slowly.

He hasn’t been a regular starter so far this season but he is only 20-years-old, so he still has plenty of time to prove himself in being a key player for Celtic in the future.
The midfielder spoke to Celtic TV about how he feels he is progressing and what he wants to achieve after playing a lot recently.
I hope to play more. I want to stay focused, work hard and wait for my chance.
He went on to add.
I know it’s difficult, but I have to wait for my chance. I want to work hard and we’ll see for the next six months.
