Moussa Dembele’s struggles in front of goal have hindered Celtic this season, according to their former player Kris Commons.
Writing in the Daily Mail, Commons demanded more from the French striker, who scored only his 10th goal of the season on Sunday against Aberdeen.
I actually think Dembele’s lack of goals have played an important part in putting more pressure onto the midfield and the defence.
For a striker who has been touted as worth £25million or more, it should be standard issue before Christmas. The fact Dembele has only just reached that number shows how much he has struggled with injuries, form and confidence.

Dembele set the Scottish Premiership alight last season, scoring 32 times in all competitions for the Hoops, who went undefeated under Brendan Rodgers.
His fantastic first season at Celtic led to talk of a £30 million move to the Premier League with both Chelsea and Tottenham heavily linked with the forward.
A move failed to materialise as injuries got the better of the striker, who has been largely inconsistent this season.
Dembele and the rest of the Celtic squad have come in for criticism on several occasions this campaign.
The Hoops lost to Kilmarnock earlier in February, as well as drawing agianst St Johnstone before crashing out of the Europa League against Zenit St Petersburg.
