Ex Celtic striker Chris Sutton has raised questions about his former clubs movements in the transfer markets which includes the signing of Charlie Musonda on loan from Chelsea in January according to the Scotsman.
Celtic year after year ease to winning the Scottish Premiership, often a long time before the end of the season, but continue to struggle in Europe and the signings are not taking them in the right direction.
Sutton gave his thoughts on his former club’s exit from the Europa League at the last 32 stage which came as a real disappointment.

The former Norwich and Celtic man feels that the problem with the team away from the league games is the transfer market and not being able to take the club to that very next level which is something that he feels needs to change.
Sutton has questioned the signing of Musonda in particular and was shocked as to why Rodgers has left him out in the cold after just a few games.
He spoke about the situation to BT Sport:
“I think that Brendan is a top coach but I think some of the recruitment hasn’t been good enough. “
They spent big wages on him and for Brendan to discard him after just a few games, I don’t get it. It’s big business for Celtic and I think there’s a lot of fans scratching their heads.
“I think for Celtic to move on a level and to keep Brendan at the club, they need a big summer.”
