Player ratings: Celtic 3-0 Morton (H)

A brace from Moussa Dembele and a late goal from Odsonne Edouard saw Celtic progress to the semi-final of the Scottish Cup.

For large parts of the first half Brendan Rodgers’ side lacked creativity, but looked a different side in the second.

Dembele came closest to opening the scoring after he saw his header cleared off the line on 15 minutes.

Five minutes before half-time Tom Rogic came close to scoring with a first-time volley from Kieran Tierney’s cross, but his shot was well saved at the near post.

On the 62nd minute, Dembele opened the scoring with a powerful header that crashed off the crossbar and into the net from Rogic’s cross.

Seven minutes later the Frenchman was brought down, albeit just outside the box, and converted from the penalty spot for his 12th goal of the season.

In the final minute of normal time, Edouard got his reward with a goal after his shot was deflected beyond the keeper into the roof of the net.
