New Scotland manager Alex McLeish has named five Celtic players in his squad to face Costa Rica and Hungary in friendly games later this month.
Kieran Tierney, Stuart Armstrong, James Forrest and Calum McGregor have all been included in the squad, as has Ryan Christie, who is on loan at Aberdeen from the Scottish champions.
McLeish is looking for a new captain following Scott Brown’s retirement, and there is talk that Tierney could get the nod ahead of the likes of Charlie Mulgrew, Grant Hanley and Tom Cairney.
