Celtic star Cristian Gamboa has brought a personal trainer to Glasgow to keep himself fit for the World Cup with Costa Rica, as per reports..
The Costa Rican has barely featured this season for the Hoops under Brendan Rodgers, with only two league appearances to his name, the last being the frustrating 0-0 draw at Celtic Park to St Johnstone.
Despite this, he was picked to play in the recent international fixtures for Costa Rica, and played an hour and a quarter of the match at Hampden Park against Scotland in Alex McLeish’s return as Scotland manager.

Costa Rica won 1-0 against a Scotland side which featured two Celtic players off the bench in Callum McGregor and Stuart Armstrong.
So in an attempt to stay fit for the World Cup to try and get into the Costa Rica squad, he has hired a personal trainer as an alternative to game time at Celtic.
He said in a recent interview:
I just have to make sure I am fit and I am ready for the World Cup. The good thing is that I know Costa Rica trust me a lot… I can only take what Celtic give me and hopefully be ready. I have brought a personal trainer over from Spain to help me. I have been working with this guy for the last two weeks and I will keep working with him until the end of the season. I need to think about myself now.
