Liverpool reject another loan offer from Celtic for Harry Wilson
Liverpool have rejected a second loan offer from Celtic for forward Harry Wilson, according to Neil Jones of Goal.
Jones reports that Liverpool rejected another loan approach from Celtic at the weekend as they have concerns about sending him to the Scottish champions after seeing Chelsea’s Charly Musonda get very little game time whilst on loan at Celtic Park last season.
The Welshman is keen to impress Jurgen Klopp during pre-season to earn himself a place in the Liverpool squad for the upcoming campaign and with some of the Reds established stars still away due to their World Cup exploits, Wilson has every chance to catch the manager’s eye.
Wilson looks set to sign a second new contract in six months after the Reds decided to give him an improved deal after his impressive performances whilst on loan with Hull City at the end of last season.
However, it has not been decided if he will go out on loan once again or be part of the Liverpool squad next season. Either way, it looks like the Welsh international will not be at Celtic for the upcoming campaign.
