Celtic have confirmed that Emilio Izaguirre has re-signed the club as a free agent.
The Hoops took to Twitter to announce the player after days of speculation about his future.
The defender terminated his deal with Al-Fayha in the Middle East and has re-joined the club after a year away from the Scottish champions.
Izaguirre has already been very vocal in his decision to re-sign for the Hoops, with a two-year deal believed to be on the table.
Once a regular for the Hoops in recent years, the player is now expected to provide competition for Kieran Tierney, who has cemented the left-back position as his own.
Izaguirre joined Celtic the first around from Motagua in 2010 and quickly became a favourite with the fans at Parkhead.
The emergence of Tierney saw him fall out of favour during the latter stages of his first stint at the club, but he provides valuable experience to the current squad.
