As Celtic prepare to face AEK Athens in Greece, we will be playing the role of Brendan Rodgers and will be choosing the starting XI, as well as predicting how the team will line-up on the pitch.
It also includes a bit of insight into what we expect from each player, and what they can do to make the difference.
The Hoops go into this tie at a disadvantage having conceded an away goal in last week’s 1-1 draw at Celtic Park.
An uphill battle no doubt, but one that Brendan Rodgers’ side won’t shy away from given the importance of the fixture.
Tuesday night’s game will be played inside the Athens Olympic Stadium, which holds just under 70,000 fans.
Kick-off is 19:00 Celtic Park time with the game being shown live on BT Sport 2.
Here is our predicted XI in a 4-2-3-1 formation for tomorrow night’s crunch tie.
GK - Craig Gordon
Will retain his spot. Has to be at his best as a clean sheet would massively help in Celtic’s hopes of progressing.
RB - Mikael Lustig
A solid defensive display from the Swede is a must in Tuesday’s tie.
CB - Jack Hendry
Comes in for the suspended Kristoffer Ajer.
CB - Jozo Simunovic
Rodgers will likely opt for a pairing of Simunovic and Ajer. Similar to the Norwegian, he will have to bounce back after a poor performance at the weekend versus Hearts.
LB - Kieran Tierney
Will look to get forward at every chance to help out in attack. Knows exactly what this tie means to the club so will give his all as usual.
CM - Scott Brown
The skipper will look to inspire his team to a famous victory. Was the first Scottish player to reach 100 European appearances in last week’s first-leg tie.
CM - Olivier Ntcham
Ntcham was the best Celtic player in last Wednesday’s 1-1 draw despite a poor team performance. The same in Greece and he could be a hero.
RW - James Forrest
Has turned up for the Hoops away in Europe before, so here’s hoping he can do so once again.
CAM - Tom Rogic
Rogic has what it takes to unlock the opposition backline. Will create chances and have his eye on goal throughout the game.
LW - Callum McGregor
Opened the scoring in the first leg and will be hoping to do the same on Tuesday night.
ST - Odsonne Edouard
The French striker has proven he has a keen eye for goal and will be looking to show that once again when he starts up top.
Striking partner Moussa Dembele traveled with the squad to Athens, though Rodgers could save him for the latter stages of the game.
