Celtic left-back Kieran Tierney has moved to rubbish ‘talk’ of a Rangers revival after the Hoops put away Steven Gerrard’s side 11 days ago.
The Scot has begun the season in fine fettle and is keen to keep things going that way.
There was much chat about a comeback from Celtic’s rivals but Tierney isn’t interested if the headlines are hogged by them.
Everybody was talking about Rangers but we kept quiet and did our talking where it matters most – on the park.
We played really well against Rangers and on another day we could have scored a few more. I don’t think anyone could have argued with the final outcome.
Thus far, the Bhoys’ biggest challengers appear to be Hearts, who have started the season with four wins from four.
Brendan Rodgers’ side will go level on points, until Saturday at least, should they beat St Mirren of Friday.

Tierney maintains confidence that a third successive treble is possible, however. He said:
There is quality in the squad and in every position, but that is Celtic for you.
If you are not working hard enough or playing to your best then there will always be somebody else there, waiting to take your place.
There is no room for complacency at Celtic. That’s what makes us a top team and why every Celtic player aspires to be the best we can be.
It’s that quality that will serve Celtic well over the course of the season and it’s hard to argue that another successful season isn’t on the cards.
