Contract negotiations between Griffiths and the Hoops had been ongoing for a prolonged period of time but an agreement has been reached, with the Scotland international penning a new four-year deal.
The forward’s importance to Brendan Rodgers’ plans at Celtic Park will have only heightened in recent times, with Moussa Dembele completing a big-money move to Ligue 1 giants Lyon last week.

The striker recently scored his 100th goal in Celtic colours and reiterated his desire to continue succeeding with the reigning Scottish champions.
Griffiths is a key figure at Celtic Park and will be desperate to help the Hoops secure yet more silverware in domestic competitions this season, with the club out to retain the Scottish Premiership once again.
