Former Celtic striker John Hartson believes that Aberdeen defender Scott McKenna could still be a good signing for the club in the future.
Writing in the Evening Times, Hartson spoke of his admiration for the Scottish defender, despite his horror tackle on Odsonne Edouard at the weekend.
I actually really like the boy as a player although who knows if Odsonne Edouard feels the same.
I actually think McKenna is an old-fashioned centre-half who is winning the ball now matter what – and there have been many times when we have thought that is exactly what Celtic could do with.

McKenna dominated the headlines after his tackle on the French striker that went unpunished during the game.
The tackle has divided opinions among supporters, with some feeling the player should have been booked, while others believe he could have been shown a straight red card.
McKenna was heavily linked with a move to Celtic during the summer window, but Aberdeen refused to sell.
A host of Premier League and Championship clubs were also believed to be monitoring the player. Aston Villa were among those to also have a bid rejected.
