Celtic midfielder Scott Brown has hit back at claims of a divided dressing room at the club, as he backs Brendan Rodgers and the rest of the squad to turn the season into a success.
After a slow start to the campaign, there were suggestions made about a divided dressing room when players were reportedly denied the chance to leave the club when interest in their services began to mount.
The likes of Olivier Ntcham were said to be unhappy at the club, but that no longer appears to be the case.
Speaking about the current mood in the dressing room, as reported by the Express, Brown says that everyone at the club is on the same page.
There have been a lot of people trying to put us down, but we have a great dressing room and a great manager and board, and we’re all together no matter what happens.
The results aren’t always going to go your own way. We’ve had two great seasons and sometimes you will have ups and downs.
We’ll be flying out the blocks again and I think the last performance shows how committed we all are.
There are a load of pundits who just want to say something, but that’s just people keeping themselves in a job. We stick together and we have a great bunch of lads. We do our talking on the field.
Despite poor results earlier this season, the Hoops are showing that things are beginning to click as they aim to close the gap to league leaders Hearts.
Celtic are currently two points behind Hearts as they head into the international break, with Hibernian up next for Rodgers’ side.
