Celtic winger DanielĀ Arzani joined the club in the summer on a two-year loan deal and in doing so, created quite the buzz around Parkhead.
The reality since then, however, has been that the Australian hasn’t figured for the first team, having to make do with appearances in the reserves.
Reports in Australia now suggest that the 19-year-old could leave the Hoops as early as December thanks to a clause in his contract.
The clause, apparently, allows Arzani to head back to Manchester City if he doesn’t make his senior first team debut before the end of November.
This means, in straight terms, he has around six weeks to achieve that and keep his Celtic career alive.

BrendanĀ Rodgers has been open about of the player, saying he’s unsure on whether he’s ready for the senior side just yet.
That’s been criticised by Celtic legend Willie Wallace, who is now based in Australia. He said:
Arzani is a good little player, and Brendan Rodgers disappointed me on that one.Ā Heās saying itās going to be a while before he plays. Well, why are Celtic paying the wages and not Man City?
Why would you take Arzani for two years if he isnāt going to play in your team? The kid, for me, will finish up a better player than James Forrest.Ā If I was the board at Celtic, Iād have kicked the managerās a*** out the door!
Strong words from the Lisbon Lion, who clearly believes Arzani has what it takes to make an impact atĀ Celtic Park.
Time will tell whether the highly-rated youngster is used and thus is held onto, but one thing’s for sure, Rodgers will have the final say on the outcome.
