There were suggestions in Monday’s media that DanielĀ Arzani has a ‘release clause’ in his contract that could see him exit Parkhead as early as December, should he fail to make a senior appearance before then.
Club sources have now reportedly moved to deny this is the case, however, confirming the Australian will be staying put with the Hoops.
It was thought that Manchester City were open to taking the player back to the Etihad, either to use him as a squad player or to loan him out elsewhere.
Manager Brendan Rodgers has yet to play the winger, admitting he’s unsure if Arzani’s ready to make his first-team debut.

The 19-year-old, along with teammate TomĀ Rogic, both played for the Socceroos as they hammered Kuwait 4-0 in an international game and the Celtic pair impressed.
Some fans will be delighted with the news, if true, that there is no such clause and the two-year loan deal signed between City and Celtic will stand for its duration.
Mystery still remains, though, as to why Rodgers has yet to play the youngster, especially when performances on the national stage are pointing towards him being a special talent.
