Lennon not fazed by Celtic form

Hibernian boss Neil Lennon has warned Celtic that his side are not worried about the Hoops’ home form as the two sides prepare to meet this weekend.

The game pits second against third on Saturday, with both sides looking to take the top spot in the Scottish Premiership.

Depending on the result of Hearts’ game against Aberdeen, the winner on Saturday could jump to the top of the table.

Speaking ahead of the game, as reported by STV News, Lennon was in high spirits when quizzed about the task at hand.

Celtic have been very consistent at home but it doesn’t faze us. The players should relish it, you want to test yourself against the best. It’s pointless being afraid, if you go in there with fear that can consume you. You have to play with belief and hate losing.

The mentality of the club has changed since the cup win, it has been a steady progression since then. If we go there and get a positive result, we’ll take it and move on.

The meeting between the two sides follows several reports that have linked Neil Lennon with a move back to Celtic to replace Brendan Rodgers, who has been attracting interest in England recently.

Both Charlie Nicholas and Chris Sutton have talked up the chances of Lennon making a dramatic return to the club in the not too distant future.
