The Hoops face the Bundesliga side on Thursday night knowing that they need a positive result to stay in the mix for qualification out of their group.

After two games, Celtic are level on points with Leipzig, with Red Bull Salzburg leading the way with six points to their name.

A win on Thursday night would take the Hoops above Leipzig in Group C and could go a long way to securing the club’s passage into the next round.

Brendan Rodgers and his side will be feeling confident heading into the game following their recent upturn in form. The club have lost just once in their last five across all competitions.
