Brendan Rodgers spoke to the press in Germany earlier ahead of Celtic’s Europa League clash with RB Leipzig.
The Hoops prepare for match-day three in the group stages, where they have three points from a total of six so far.
A 3-1 defeat away to Austrian outfit RB Salzburg in their last European fixture means this Thursday’s game will be even tougher given the quality of their Bundesliga opponents.
The Celts boss gave an update to the media on the availability of his squad of players while also sharing his thoughts ahead of the tie:
Scott Brown will be out for the next 2-3 weeks with a calf strain. Leigh Griffiths hasn’t returned to training yet and Tom Rogic hasn’t travelled. He has an issue with his knee and we’ll look at that when we’re back.
We’ll see how Filip Benkovic is over the next 24 hours. We have a number of young players and other players that may have the opportunity to play and I’m looking forward to that.

It’s key we think about performing well. It’s about playing with confidence and not frightened to make mistakes.
It’s pretty clear they are a very good side. The next two games are going to be very important. To have the opportunity to take a result from the game, we need to perform at a high level. We know how to do that and we’ve brought our form back into the game.
We come here with confidence. Our last couple of performances domestically have been very good. The speed of our game is returning.
With several key players not fit (or suspended in James Forrest’s case), it’s sure to be a challenging game for the Scottish champions; though stranger things happened!
Kick-off for tomorrow’s clash is set for 5:55pm and will be held at the Red Bull Arena which holds just less than 50,000 fans.
