Celtic advanced to the final of the Betfred Cup as they swept aside Hearts with a convincing 3-0 victory.

The Hoops turned in a dominant display but were unable to break down a resolute Hearts defence in the opening stages.

However, Brendan Rodgers’ men were able to step up and penetrate their counterparts in the second half.

Scott Sinclair opened the scoring with a calmly taken penalty before efforts from James Forrest and Ryan Christie secured a convincing win for Celtic on Sunday afternoon.

Here are our player ratings from the semi-final victory.
