Celtic defender Mikael Lustig has hailed how the team approach big games following their Betfred Cup semi-final victory over Hearts on Sunday.
Lustig featured as the Hoops progressed through to the final of the competition, where they will face Aberdeen, who advanced with a 1-0 win against Rangers.
Celtic’s victory, meanwhile, was more comprehensive. A second-half flurry of goals saw Brendan Rodgers’ men come away with a 3-0 victory at Murrayfield.
Scott Sinclair netted Celtic’s first of the afternoon before James Forrest and Ryan Christie secured a comfortable win for the Scottish champions.
Lustig, as quoted by the Daily Record, was quick to praise the way in which Celtic cope with the big occasions in domestic football, highlighting how comfortable they are when the pressure is on.

Speaking after the Betfred Cup semi-final win, Sweden international Lustig said:
We feel really comfortable when we come to play at Hampden and now Murrayfield in semi-finals and finals. We know we are always going to put on a great show.
I said before as well that we know our fans are going to turn up, and they did once again. And it was a pitch we could play good football on, and we did that in the second half.
Lustig will hope to help Celtic come out on top once again in their upcoming Scottish Premiership clash with Dundee this week.
