Daniel Arzani has given an update on his knee injury.
The Australian winger was stretchered off during Wednesday’s match against Dundee, in what was his Celtic debut.
Having waited a considerable amount of time to make his first appearance for the Hoops, the 19-year-old was substituted on just after the hour mark. He didn’t last long.
Sinking to the turf with a knee injury, the youngster was stretchered off. Despite initial hopes from manager Brendan Rodgers that his Manchester City loanee would be facing a short lay-off, reports today have emerged suggesting Arzani is set to miss a considerable amount of time.
His instant attacking quality was evident in Dundee on Wednesday, and Hoops fans will be gutted they won’t get to see one of their brightest stars for some time.
Arzani offered a humour-filled update on his Instagram account, asking the question “will I make it?”, when looking at his leg in a cast and a flight of stairs.

The World Cup sensation then thanked fans for their kind messages in the wake of his injury.

Celtic fans will be hoping Arzani can recover quicker than expected – perhaps Manchester City will send him to the famous Doctor Cugat!
