Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has been ranked as the 50th best manager in world football by FourFourTwo.
The same publication ranked Rodgers in 37th place this time last year and despite securing another domestic treble, he’s fallen 13 places.
The Celtic boss is the only manager from a Scottish club to be named in the top 50, but his side’s failure to make an impact in European competition has been given as the reason as to why he’s fallen down the rankings.

Rodgers took over at Celtic in 2016 and has won every domestic competition since, picking up six trophies and his side have a chance to win a seventh cup when they face Aberdeen in the League Cup final in December.
However, Celtic’s poor showings in Europe have been a bugbear of plenty of fans and it seems like FourFourTwo are putting some of the blame at the feet of Rodgers.
