Anything but a win against RB Leipzig on Thursday will pretty much confirm Celtic’s exit from the Europa League at the group stage so the news that one of the German side’s best players will be unavailable for the game should be welcome news for fans of the Scottish champions.
Swedish international Emil Forsberg, a transfer target for the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool in the recent past, will not travel to Scotland this week as he is expected to be out for a couple of weeks,

Lepizig manager Ralf Rangnick, said:
I assume he will be available at the latest after the next international break. The medical department is working at full speed.
Celtic lost 2-0 in Germany almost two weeks ago to a weakened Leipzig side, so even though Forsberg is out, Brendan Rodgers will know that his team are in for a tough battle.
Celtic need a three-goal win to leapfrog Lepzig into second place in Group B but they will be focussed on getting any type of victory to keep their chances of progression alive.
