Celtic legend John Hartson has urged manager Brendan Rodgers to sell defender Dedryck Boyata in January.
The Belgium international is in the last year of his current contract at Parkhead and could leave on a free transfer next summer.
Speaking at a Ladbrokes Gambling aware campaign, Hartson believes it makes sense to cash in on Boyata, with the centre-back unlikely to be without suitors.

If Celtic get a big bid for Boyata, seven or eight million, then he has to go.
It’s a no-brainer.
They have still got Kris Ajer, Jack Hendry, Jozo Simunovic and Filip Benkovic, so I think it’s a real possibility Boyata could go.
Boyata moved to Celtic from Manchester City in the summer of 2015 and has become an important figure for the Scottish champions.
His influence at the back has helped Rodgers’ side cruise to the Premiership title in all three of his seasons in Scotland and they are strong favourites to win it again in 2018/19.

Boyata also has 11 appearances for Belgium to his name, appearing in the 2018 World Cup as they reached the semi-finals.
Celtic must weigh up whether it is worth losing their star defender on a free transfer next summer, or receiving a hefty fee for him midway through the season.
