Highly-rated Celtic youngster Daniel Arzani has confirmed he will miss the rest of the season with a serious knee injury.
The 19-year-old damaged his anterior cruciate ligament in the 5-0 win over Dundee last Wednesday, on what was his senior debut for the club.

Arzani took to Twitter to reveal the news on Tuesday morning, saying:
Thank you to everyone who has taken the time out of their day to show support and love.
Unfortunately I will need an ACL Op, ruling me out till next season! This is a tough time for me but also a chance to improve and come out of this better than ever!
Love you all!
It is a cruel blow for Arzani, who is thought of as one of Australia’s most promising young players in years.

He is on loan at Celtic from Manchester City on a two-year deal, having joined the Premier League champions from Melbourne City in August.
Arzani’s injury diagnosis means he will miss Australia’s Asia Cup defence in January, where he was expected to play a prominent role in the UAE-hosted tournament.
His main aim now will be getting back to full fitness in order to feature for Celtic in his second season at Parkhead.
