Nir Bitton appears to be taking positive steps towards a Celtic return after being pictured training ahead of the RB Leipzig clash.
A report from the Daily Record has Bitton pictured training with the rest of the Celtic squad as he continues to work his way back to full fitness.
Bitton has been sidelined since February with a lengthy knee injury, but a first-team return does not appear to be too far away for the player.
The player’s return will come as a huge boost to Brendan Rodgers, who has seen injuries mount up at the club this season.
Rodgers had hoped to have the player back by now, but he is yet to feature for the Hoops this season.
Bitton, who has become something of a forgotten figure, will be eager to get back playing as soon as possible, having not featured since a 1-0 loss to Kilmarnock at the beginning of the year.
