Fenerbahce are set to rival Celtic in their pursuit of Iran defender Milad Mohammadi.
According to reports in Turkey, as cited on the Scotsman, Fenerbahce are also interested in signing the versatile defender.
Mohammadi has been linked with a January move to Celtic after missing out on the chance to join the Hoops over the summer.
The Akhmat Grozny defender was one of many players to be linked with the Hoops during the summer transfer window, but he opted to remain with the Russian side.
Celtic have been looking to reinforce their defence and provide more competition for Kieran Tierney, who is largely unchallenged in the left-back spot.
The player can also play on the right, meaning he will be able to rival Mikael Lustig for a starting spot.
The player is out of contract at the Russian club next summer and could be on the move in January if Akhmat Grozny want to cash in on him beforehand.
