Celtic’s win over RB Leipzig on Thursday kept their hopes of advancing to the knockout stages of the Europa League alive, but they need to put Europe to the back of their minds on Sunday as they travel to face Livingston in a Premiership fixture.
A win over Livingston will see Celtic move into first place in the league table if Hearts fail to beat Kilmarnock and that would cap off an excellent week for thr Bhoys.
Which XI will Brendan Rodgers pick for the game?
Here’s what we think:
Craig Gordon
Celtic’s number one. Hardly a surprising selection!
Mikael Lustig
Mikael Lustig isn’t exactly a fan favourite and he’s got the odd error in him but he looks like he’ll get the nod at right-back.
Dedryck Boyata
First-choice at centre-back and when he’s fit, he’s likely to play.
Filip Benkovic
One of the key factors in Celtic’s upturn in form is Filip Benkovic. The Leicester City loanee has been excellent so far.
Kieran Tierney
Fresh from a great performance in midweek, in which he scored an excellent goal, KT should be full of confidence.
Callum McGregor
With Scott Brown still out, Callum McGregor will continue in the deep midfield role.
Ryan Christie
How good had Ryan Christie been recently!? There’s no way he can be left out on current form.
Tom Rogic
Australian star Tom Rogic rounds off the midfield three. He’ll be looking to get on the scoresheet once again.
Scott Sinclair
Scott Sinclair, after a poor run, has started to find some form again, which is a huge boost for Celtic.
James Forrest
Another man in excellent form. James Forrest will be a handful for the Livingston defence.
Odsonne Edouard
‘French Eddy’ rounded off a lovely team goal on Thursday night and he’ll be backing himself to get on the scoresheet this weekend.
