Celtic will not be pursuing a January move for Swansea and Wales defender Connor Roberts.
According to The Daily Mail, Celtic were scouting Roberts earlier this season as they look to improve their depth at right-back.
However, they have decided not to follow-up on that interest and will, instead, be looking at other options.
The 23-year-old is a regular in Swansea’s Championship team, helping the team keep a respectable defensive record in the league so far this season.
Swansea have only conceded 17 goals in 18 games this season, with four of them coming last weekend against top of the league Norwich.
Roberts has been capped eight times by Wales, scoring once, with all of his senior appearances coming in 2018.
The report does not name any alternative targets for Celtic at this point, with January just over a month away.
