Celtic return to Europa League action this Thursday as they travel to Austria to face Rosenborg in matchday five of the Group B.
It’s still all to play for in the competition after the Hoops added to their list of special European nights at Celtic Park by beating RB Leipzig 2-1 at the start of November.
The Scottish champions currently sit third in Group B on six points, with Leipzig (also on six points) sitting above them given their head-to-head record.
The potential path of qualifying for the group stages is complex in Celtic’s case. However, three points on Thursday would go a long way in boosting their hopes.
With the League Cup final set to be played on Sunday, it’ll be interesting to see how Rodgers approaches this one.
There are players who have just returned from injuries such as Leigh Griffiths and Olivier Ntcham, so they may be used accordingly.
Here is our Celtic predicted XI for their tie with Rosenborg, in a 4-2-3-1 formation.
