Celtic defender Mikael Lustig is set to meet with representatives from the Scottish champions to discuss the Swede’s future at the club.
According to Fotbol Direkt, as translated by Sport Witness, Swedish champions AIK have been in contact with the full-back regarding a potential move in the summer and Lustig is said to be interested in returning to his homeland.
However, Celtic are keen to extend Lustig’s contract which expires at the end of the season, so they will meet with the player and his representatives to discuss his plans for the future.

If the 31-year-old decides that he does want to make a move to AIK, Celtic could choose to cash in on him in January, rather than lose him for free in the summer.
However, there won’t be a big market for the defender and if he does have his heart set on a move to AIK, then he’ll likely join them when his Celtic contract expires at the end of the current campaign.
