Ewan Henderson in contract standoff with Celtic
Young Celtic midfielder Ewan Henderson could be on his way out of the club following a contract standoff.
According to the Daily Record, the player is ‘considering his options’ with first-team opportunities limited at Celtic.
The promising young midfielder has made just one senior appearance after coming through the ranks at the club.
Henderson could look to follow his older brother Liam Henderson, who also left Celtic to pursue first-team football elsewhere.
He took his career to Italy to join Bari and has since earned a move to Hellas Verona as he continues to impress on the continent.
Henderson is out of contract at Celtic next summer and could leave for nothing if he decides against signing an extension.

The 18-year-old has been a regular for the club’s academy side but has been unable to break into Brendan Rodgers’ plans.
Losing another talented youngster would come as a huge blow to Rodgers, with Henderson ready to take matters into his own hands.
