Hibernian boss Neil Lennon has confirmed his desire to sign Celtic’s forgotten man Scott Allan in January.
As reported by the Daily Record, Lennon revealed that the midfielder is in his sights ahead of the transfer window.
Allan does not appear to have a future at Celtic after failing to break into Brendan Rodgers’ plans.
Scott’s under contract. I don’t want to start headlines. He’s a player we like. These kinds of players cost a lot of money but if there was an opportunity there we’d look at it, obviously.

The midfielder is out of contract in the summer and is expected to be on the move in the near future.
Allan joined Celtic from Hibernian after impressing there but has since been unable to replicate that form for the Hoops.
He has since enjoyed various loan spells away from the club, including a stint back at Hibernian during the second half of last season.
Allan has also spent time at Rotherham and Dundee as he continues to face a bleak Celtic future.
