Celtic are expected to complete a deal to sign young American defender Manny Perez in January.
According to the Daily Record, Perez has done enough to win a contract during his trial period at the club.
Perez has been spending time at Lennoxtown in a bid to earn a deal with the Scottish champions.
The player himself took to social media to confirm that he was on trial with the Hoops.
Perez is now expected to become Brendan Rodgers’ first signing of the January transfer window.

The report claims that a deal between both parties has been agreed, pending the approval of a work permit.
Rodgers is known to be keen on the prospect of strengthening at right-back, with Mikael Lustig reaching the latter stages of his career, as well as being largely unrivalled in that position.
Whether or not Perez will be pushing for a place in the first-team squad straight away remains to be seen.
