After a summer of transfer discontent and the January window fast approaching, Brendan Rodgers is already looking to sign Belgian defender Timothy Castagne in a deal worth £6 million.
According to the Daily Mail, the 23-year-old is a top target as Celtic look to add quality in the right-back position.
Castagne, who made his international debut for Belgium against Scotland in September, has made just seven appearances in Serie A for Atlanta this season and could make the move to Glasgow as he seeks more first-team opportunities.

With the ageing Mikael Lustig struggling to find consistent form this would be a clear area to strengthen next month.
The defender is currently contracted till 2020 so the Italians are said to be less keen on selling but the player could be attracted by Celtic’s domestic success, European football and also the chance to work under Rodgers.
The club are also thought to be pushing to sign PSG forward Timothy Weah in a loan deal as the manager looks to bolster his attacking options but thus far he hasn’t confirmed any done deals.
With the current focus very much on Saturday’s derby clash with Rangers, it seems transfer deals will take a back step but it does seem certain that Celtic will add to their squad in January.
