Celtic defender Kieran Tierney is an injury doubt to face Rangers on Saturday.
As reported by the Daily Record, Celtic have been left sweating on the player’s fitness ahead of the derby game.
Tierney has been suffering from injuries throughout the festive period, meaning he has been used sparingly to ensure that he does not miss the key run of fixtures coming up.
Speaking about Tierney’s fitness, Brendan Rodgers admitted the Hoops are playing a waiting game.
He is clearly a question mark. In the next 48 hours we will see.
With Tom Rogic also set to miss the game, the Hoops will be desperate to have Tierney available for selection.
The left-back has been forced to sit out of Celtic’s last four games and has not featured since the Europa League match against Red Bull Salzburg.
The report claims that Celtic will not rush into making any decision, with Rodgers keen to give the player every chance to recover from the hip injury.
