Celtic could miss out on signing Belgian full-back Timothy Castagne, following the revelation that his side have increased their asking price for the defender.
Atalanta deployed the right-back against Juventus and Sassuolo, and after impressing, a DH report (translated by the great men and women at Sports Witness) has claimed that the Serie A outfit have decided to raise the asking price.
Once set at €10 million, the price now may be too rich for Celtic’s blood.

Rather than being ‘priced out’, it is perhaps more likely Brendan Rodgers will choose to look elsewhere, unwilling to cough up the necessary money to bring the 23-year-old to Parkhead.
Celtic had been prepared to part with €6.7 million for the former Genk man, and it would be a surprising development to see them double that bid to secure the signing.
There are other defenders out there!
