Dunajska Streda’s sporting director Jan van Daele has confirmed that Celtic have made a bid for Vakoun Issouf Bayo, but he says his club have rejected the offer.
Speaking to Sky Sports News: Van Daele said
We confirm we have received a bid from Celtic but refused the bid as it did not match our expectations.

However, Van Daele confirmed that the Slovakian club will be willing to sell the Ivorian forward if Celtic up their offer.
We are in direct contact with Celtic club officials and we are open to negotiating with Celtic.
The Scottish champions reportedly made a bid of £1.75million for the 21-year-old, but Dunajska Streda have told Celtic that they want around £2.3million for their star player.
Celtic have been scouting Bayo for a significant period of time and want him to be one of two forwards they bring in during the January transfer window/
