Dundee midfielder and reported Celtic target Glen Kamara is due to have a medical with Rangers.
Sky Sports News reports that Steven Gerrard’s side are closing in on a double swoop for Kamara and Kilmarnock’s Jordan Jones.
Both players are due to have medicals before signing pre-contract agreements to join the club at the end of the season.
The Finnish international had been linked with a move to Celtic as he approaches the end of his contract with Dundee.

He has impressed with Dundee and a host of English and Scottish clubs were keeping close tabs on his situation.
Kamara was expected to leave Dundee, who are once again struggling at the foot of the table.
Derby, Swansea, Rangers, Hearts, Hibs and Celtic have all been credited with an interest in signing the player during recent weeks, but it appears that Gerrard’s side have won the race.
