New Celtic signing Vakoun Issouf Bayo had a big choice to make before leaving his old club.
Did he want to go to Celtic, or Internazionale?
Two clubs steeped in history, and a slightly less dramatic retelling of the famous 1967 European Cup final.
It was to be another good result for the Hoops, however, as the forward opted to make the move to Glasgow.
Reports are now suggesting that the Cote d’Ivoire international chose Celtic Park over the San Siro because of the increased playing time he would be likely to receive in Scotland.
With Odsonne Edouard struggling to find lasting fitness coupled with Leigh Griffiths’ period of leave, Bayo could indeed find himself thrust into the starting lineup before long.
Other new attacking option Timothy Weah could also be included in the next few days, as Celtic prepare for a cup fixture against Airdrieonians next Saturday evening.
Brendan Rodgers’ side will return to league duty on the Wednesday after, with a clash against St Mirren.
