Scottish champions Celtic are hoping to sign former Barcelona and Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure, according to reports in Greece, as cited by The Scotsman.
Those Greek reports are claiming that Celtic have made an offer to the 35-year-old midfielder to sign him this month.

Toure left Greek side Olympiakos last month and has been without a club since, meaning he would be available to sign on a free transfer.
Yaya’s brother, Kolo, is part of the Celtic coaching staff and he could play a key part in persuading his brother to move to Scotland.
The midfielder has been looking for a move to a top European club but has not had any luck yet, which has encouraged Celtic to make their move for him.
Signing Toure would be a massive boost for Celtic going into the second half of the season and a man of his experience could be vital in helping Celtic to the league title this year.
