Celtic not interested in signing Yaya Toure
Earlier today, it was reported by a Greek news outlet, via The Scotsman, that Celtic were interested in signing Yaya Toure but it seems like the club are not looking to bring the former Manchester City midfielder to the club.
As reported by Sky Sports, the Scottish champions will not be pursuing a deal for the Ivorian, who is a free agent after leaving Greek side Olympiakos last month.

Brendan Rodgers’ club, who are very much in a title race with Glasgow rivals Rangers, have already made a few signings this month, but it sees like Toure won’t be following the likes of Vakoun Issouf Bayo, Oliver Burke and Timothy Weah to Celtic Park.
Toure, whilst appearing as a guest on Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football, said that he intends to continue his playing career for at least a few more years, but it looks like that won’t be at Celtic.
